The policies and expectations of this Student Handbook are applied to anyone with the status of “student” at Eastern Nazarene College. In the context of this document, a “student” is defined as anyone actively enrolled in an academic program at the College.
This status typically begins at the point of admission and continues until graduation, unless interrupted by involuntary departure (if the College issues a suspension/expulsion or an administrative withdrawal) or voluntary departure (if the individual completes the “Notification of Student Departure”). In rare situations, an individual may not be considered a “student” if they are between academic semester and have no indication of a return to ENC. For compliance reporting, ENC may use other, preferred definitions that are aligned with reporting requirements.
