It is within the jurisdiction of the College when one or more of the following criteria is met:
When the alleged violation is committed by:
- A student currently enrolled in an ENC academic program (see “Definition of a Student”),
- A student who was enrolled but withdrew before the violation had been formally adjudicated, or
- A former student who had been reported for a violation after their enrollment status had concluded but is now seeking to return to the institution.
When the alleged violation takes place:
- On ENC’s campus property
- At a College-sponsored activity
- At all locations connected to the College, such as an internship or study abroad location
- At an off-campus location that may substantively and adversely affect the College community or the pursuit of its objections, such that the suitability of the student’s fit with the College may be called into question (e.g. a felony conducted off campus)
