A student may voluntarily self-report a violation of a College Policy or Community Standard (e.g. being at a party where alcohol is being served) to a College official (a Resident Director, a Coach, a Faculty Member, the Coordinator of Student Conduct, etc.) and not be required to go through the formal conduct investigation, hearing, and sanctioning process.
This policy is not offered:
- If the violation constitutes a criminal offense and/or result in an arrest.
- If the violation has already been reported to the College.
- If the violation is a repeated or serious offense.
Upon receiving of a self-report, the College official is required to submit an incident report. The Coordinator of Student Conduct will meet with the student and coordinate a personal growth plan.
